When starting up a server, don't rage quit.

Did you contact an admin about this?

This is one of those situations where you get an eGO admin to help you. Coming here and venting your frustration doesn't help us.

No, I didn't want to bother you guys. And i needed a break for the night anyway.

Love the new air map server though. :) Before that mess, it was the best time I had.

I actually end up rage quitting sometimes. But it looks like I ragequit a lot due to the fact that in 10 boots of the game, one will be stable. And then I start raging from all the crashes and then RAEGQUIT.

Do I think its unbecoming?

No, not really. I mean I get frustrated at crashes more than getting camped, but either way, if you're frustrated by something, walking away isn't a bad option.

If they weren't being douches in chat or server, and just left, I dunno, I just can't see the complaint in that.

My 2 cents

Again, this thread was not directed at you, as there is clearly a good reason to be mad at the game (but not mad at the players or team balance)

The problem is that when there are 12-16 people in a map, and 4 of them (eGO members) decide to just up and leave, all of which on the losing team, then that sets a precedent for the remainder of the round. Usually the worse team starts getting rolled even more, and therefore, more people start leaving, and it causes the server to die due to a massive inbalance in teams.

The point of this thread is this: If we're starting a server up, suck it up and play. If you need to leave, that's not a problem. If you leave because your team is losing, then not only do you have a problem, but the server has a much more difficult time starting up, and that is bad for everyone.

I defiantly agree with this thought and sort of because of this issue and balance of teams, we are debating on whether we should do a trial run of the active auto team balance. Basically it actively checks if the teams are even and if they are not then it will switch the person who last joined on the opposing team to the team with the least people to balance the server.

Pros:
Teams will always be even in #s

Cons:
The plugin-in will switch the last joiner whether he is alive or dead (but you will not gain a death)
Squads will be separated.

Thoughts? Comments? Concerns?

I personally think this should be in all our servers, Ive played in other servers with it and enjoyed playing on constant even teams. Normally if you have a squad with friends it won't break them up unless one of you is last to join the server, than said person can make their friends rage ;)

One less reason for people to complain and admins dont have to manage the team stacking.

Bother us?

That's what we're here for! We're here to take care of the server when issues with players pop up.

Next time, let one of us know. If the person that you "bother" bites your head off, shoot a PM to an adviser, because they are never supposed to do that. We're here to help, always.

Mads right we took up eGO rank knowing we would get bothered and we'll gladly fix it if we have the ability to do so.

I love filling up servers with you guys. Only issue is that metro itself is unbalanced, that along with a stacked team makes starting up these servers nearly impossible and frustrating. The 64 player count is ridiculous for this map as well making it more inbalanced. This game needs a team scramble like TF2

As one of the people who is always helping fill servers I understand the frustration of people leaving but if someone isn't having fun playing a game which was created for people have fun with, I see no reason why they shouldn't leave.

What we've been doing recently on the hardcore conquest server (which has been increasingly difficult to populate) is playing with knives and pistols. Most of the pubs who come into the game early tend to enjoy it (which seems to make them come back) and it's a fun way to play on a lightly populated server.
