Calling all Idlers!

[Annihilator]

I enjoy playing Flash from time to time, but Flash's problem is it takes forever to fill up unless it is late in the evening. You try to fill it and no pubbers join in. This becomes a tedious effort when your trying to fill a server to constantly have this problem. A lot of wasted time and resources go into it and you don't get any results becomes very frustrating.

So like Greenlight said: What can we do with Flash to make it special for people to play in.

Maybe a rush style game play. (no mg's, no snipers) fast respawn would be difficult because its hard enough to cap the last flag as it is with a full server.

How bout an event on one of the off nights of events that is strictly set aside to fill up Flash?

Maybe an invite a pubber from your friends list to Flash game?

Most people claim that Flash is a "nade spam" map, so how about a Nade Fest event? When nade restrictions are lifted?

Lets try and come up with some more ideas. What special events would you guys like to see?

Great ideas Anni!

Tonight we have no events planned since the gun game mod is currently busted. So how about the Rangers try to fill Flash tonight?

I guess the real question lies in, what do you think would help Flash to prosper like it used too?

People playing on the server

People playing on the server

Professor Dutch earned his Ph.D in Obvious-cology from the University of Immaturity.

How do you expect others to take this seriously when you yourself put no effort in? Complaining is not a replacement for active effort towards a solution.

Had I been asked that question, I might point out that the key to retaining Flash players is to recruit on the server when there are indeed players in it. People in the past have brought up the point that all our flash players have left. This is true to a certain extent I would think. Flash players leave this community and division as often as those individuals who prefer other maps. However, I think the number of recruits from Flash are among the lowest if not the lowest and have been for nearly a year.

So put in some real effort and recruit some flash lovers. I have seen talk around the forums of possible filling flash for this week's wild card, and even filling it tonight as part of the Rangers program. These would be perfect opportunities to start building up a flash base again, if they indeed occur.

Yeah I think it would be a great idea to try and fill flash tonight since there is no event planned.

I'm down for a Flash fill tonight. I'm free from finals, and in need of lowering my points on the servers! Once I'm down replacing this door frame, I'll be on Flash to help out.

Absolutely incorrect

It's everyone's jobs to do what they can for the division. Waiting for someone to do something you know needs to be done is not the answer, and never will be.

Most that play on Flash pub wise are oldies. In the past we have tried to get them into eGo, but every time it failed so we gave up.

We managed to keep Flash full for about 2 hours. Thanks guys for the help!

idlers could possibly get promoted...who knows...

Now if we can just find a way to transfer that concept to the real world... promotion for being idle? Sounds awesome!!
