LUA Scripting need tutor

hey dudes, i wanted to take up LUA scripting because i can. and i'd like some help with it as it's a little tough, i'm asking for help mainly to speed up my learning more than anything, i'm trying to learn to code LUA for GMOD for a friend and because i'd always wanted to code LUA so now's a good a time as any. if anyone can help me please that'd be great, i will be doing online tutorials and such but it's not the same as having a tutor to help me through it. i get the general coding of it already from programming class learning Turing language.
