Hey,
I don't imagine you guys have as much trouble keeping your servers full as we do over in TF2, but if you do ever need to idle in a server, GamingRobot32 has created a great guide for how to idle (while being nice to your rig) in TF2 and DOD (probably CS:S and INS too), and has also created a tool for windows (download in the same post linked to above). I am currently working on porting this tool to the Mac (*gasp* people game on macs?), and was wondering if there was any interest in a DOD version of the Mac tool. It is really quite simple for me to modify the TF2 tool (once complete) for it to work on DOD, but I would need a tester or two just to make sure I didn't botch something. (*gasp* yes I don't have DOD. Sorry guys).
If there is any interest, I would be happy to make the Mac tool for DOD (the windows one is already done. See post linked to above). If not, the tool will remain TF2 only for Mac.
Anyway, if you ever have a reason to idle, check out gaming's tool (unless you're on a Mac, and then I can whip out a tool for you in no time if I haven't done so already)
