Tactx vs Logitech G700?

Sooo this is my 2nd semester in college. First semester i didn't play any games because i have a macbook air lol and it can't even run source without heating up like a fire.

I decided i needed something more powerful.......WELLLL i managed to pick up an M17x-R2 with an i7 940xm and SLI GTX 285m for $800!!! :drool: some IT guy was selling it super cheap and i snatched it

Anyways, need to pick up a gaming mouse since my originally ones at home.

My choices are either the Alienware Tactx refurbished off ebay for $40 or a brand new Logitech G700 for $60

Only thing leaning me towards the tactx is that its $20 cheaper. Otherwise, the G700 is looking better, wireless etc...

Think its worth it? $20 more for brand new G700 vs the tactx?

went ahead and bought the Logitech G700 for $60.....was worth it brand new.

I'll make a new thread showing off the laptop when i get it tomorrow and the mouse when i receive it. Probably do a review of both.

I love my G700. Not the greatest battery life and it is fairly heavy, but neither are a problem for me. Hope you enjoy it as well.
