When Australian Christmas 2011 happened, I was a happy sport. The past TF2 Smismass was terrific, and I expected the same from this years. Along with all the new hats and weapons, we got, what is now my favorite map, cp_foundry.

Foundry is one of your simple 5CP maps, but the simplicity of it makes it as good as it is. Even though matches can rage on for a long time, its just a hell of a lot of fun to play. Once the Australian Christmas was coming to a close, more people started to leave Foundry and go back to what they were doing before. Even servers started to take off 24/7 Foundry due to this. After it ended, you could probably find around 2-4 servers who kept it on, but they would usually be empty.

This is why I write this, to thank eGO for keeping Foundry up and for getting people to play on it. As for someone like myself who gets up very early in the morning, its nice to be able to play on Foundry with a usually filled server. I will continue to be playing on it and I hope you guys do the same!

Thanks again,

Nik

Also, I got this picture of me wasting 2 1/2 hours of my Saturday.

Thank yourself too, you're a part of eGO keep on the gaming and I'm sure there be plenty more reasons to be grateful about.

I will never be as good as you are D:

Anyways foundry is a really good map and it's awesome to see it full most of the time and to play with people like you just makes it a lot more fun (Or not because you always dominate/pwn me and i rage a lot) :D

Foundry is an amazing map that still goes strong for eGO. Woo!

Foundry is a great map, and im glad we keep it going, but I kinda still prefer mesa >.>

where's the one where u dominated 6 people? that was i think yesterday.

Last two days, I must have spend like 10 hours or so in Foundry. The map provides everything I could ever ask for. You can literally use any class and any kit and do really good with it. It is easily my fave valve map.

I just wish it wouldn't go in draw 90% of the time.

Yeah i agree, i wonder if there is some way to extend the time somehow.... or something to that effect, without screwing up the quickplay ect.
