Cool guns. I would love to fire off a few WW2 era weapons.. Or even better, own one.. It sucks that an original, unmodified STG44 goes for about 15,000 $ CHEAPEST From what I've researched.. FG-42 doesn't get much better.

Also, it's hard to fire off automatic weapons in NY considering we have VERY strict gun laws.

I have my concealed carry license here in Kentucky and always carry my Glock model 23 .40 cal..very nice pistol - I have aother guns as well and do alot of hunting

Like I said in server before, we need to have an eGO shoot at some point. I've got about 25 garands and carbines to pass around plus the others I posted. I think it would be great fun. Just have to find a location near enough people.
I've never actually fired a gun, but I drooled over your collection. The desert eagle and the m1911 are my favorite pistols. And the WWII stuff is plain cool. Apparently my grandfather had a luger that was either his from WWII or his father's from WWI and after he passed they gave it away to the police in a gun drive to get guns off the street. :chair::chair::chair: Sucks. But I can't help but be curious...how does one obtain/why does one obtain 16 ww2 carbines and 8 m1s.

Same happened to me, grandfather brought m31 rifle and Suomi-MP from the WW2, lost the rifle to police before i was able to try it, luckily he had the MP though. Best way to spend time in summerhouse, shoot some targets with a legendary weapon :)

I've only shot what I use in the Navy.

Gotta have one of each manufacturer. There were 10 for the M1 Carbine: Rock Ola Jukebox Company, IBM, Quality Hardware, Standard Products, Underwood Typewriter Co, Saginaw S'G', Saginaw SG, Inland Division of General Motors, Winchester, & Irwin Pederson--- still dont have an IP. Plus there were a subcontracts and other special circumstances. As far as the Garands, there were 4 different makers (winchester, springfield, H&R, & International Harvester). But I really don't know how it's possible to have too many. Once you have one you must get MOAR!!!!
