I was wondering how well this would run DOD S. I just bought it and i'm pretty excited. What fps do you think i will run? Should i be worried about my video card? THANK YOU for all of your help.

CPU- good
4gb ram- no matter what ram is pretty good
GPU- its not a bad card either


I would assume you would stay above 90 constantly. Maybe 120 max?

Remember Vista Home Premium only supports 3.5GB of RAM - 64 bit versions supports I believe 16GB of RAM :p

Your video card will run DoD great too!

BUT...

DONT BUY A DELL MAN...

If your gonna buy a manufactured comp go with HP :)
 
ok with that card and that monitor if you want good settings you will deffinitely not be gettin anywhere close to 120fps not even 90 either... i suggest a better card. Quad core does absolutely nothing with DOD:S anyway, it is a single threaded application. :\

last time i checked steam games were all CPU based.
 
Um yeah clock speed but its not gonna give you any performance increase if you have a quad core from a dual core or the same cpu turned intoa single core, i was just sayin that. The new ones are multi threaded like half life 2 episode 2 and stuff.

I think your right on Kev. i have 4 gigs of Corsair 6400 and only recognize 3.25 gigs.
