You really may want a 64bit system soon

Well, since I have Win7 64bit, this doesn't affect me, but I can't help but wonder how many people are going to get left out when 64 bit becomes a requirement for those games.

I don't blame them in this case. It won't be long before video games require more RAM than any 32-bit OS can support (approx. 4GB).

You already need a good graphics card and a good CPU to run basically any game, so I don't really see the problem with requiring games to have a 64-bit OS. Soon it won't be just EA doing this, it will be everyone.

Come on guys we can't blame EA for everything, I really don't see them as bad guys here.

Or EA will stop caring about you and put all their money into highrollers and big spenders

PROOF

If your assuming that "High rollers and big spenders" Are the only people who can get a 64 bit OS then I am sorry but that is just totally wrong. xD

I could be recieveing this wrong but 32 bit systems cost about the same as the 64 Bit.

64 bit should have been the standard 7 years ago. Crysis 1, Unreal 2004 and Far Cry are the only games I can think of that actually used both.

the point of the thread was to raise awarness. I know the chang is coming and 64 is pretty much the norm for most users now-a-days anyways. You paid for the ram, why not use it. Also - I wasn't meaning to point out EA -- They aight in my book :P.

so - i made my joke a little subtle, sorry guys.
