Hey guys, I just wanted to see if some people agree with this topic or not. As a member of the eGO minecraft division, I think minecraft is still a big community. Some of my mates reckon that minecraft craze is over. They told me that it was just a craze because there was no game like it and when it came to release people didn't buy it. So I check this states and, 30,382,444 have registered to minecraft.net but only 6,060,518 have bought the game around 20 percent. With 6 million copies sold around 20-30 USD now 30 Euro at 30 USD thats a MASSIVE!!!! 180,000,000. While these numbers are impressive for a new release game by an unknown company, only 19-20 percent bought the game.
Do I think minecraft is dead?
My answer is no, because with 30 milllion registartions and 6 million copies sold I think it is still popular. pluse they didn't count in the BETA and ALPHA trails. If it wasn't popular Microsoft would not add it to their market.
