Is CS:GO going to kill CS:S?

Some people will stick with Source, some will move onto GO. Personally I will be playing both.

Yeah what's so wrong with this, jeez. Best of both worlds. It's not as if we'll stop supporting Source suddenly.

eGO won't expect you to play anything but what you want to play. We are here to have fun after all. That being said we do plan on incorporating CS:GO, but not fully transferring over into the new game. We'll have the best of both worlds.

Lol everyone is talking about how the hitboxes suck and aiming sucks and the weapons suck when in reality it is a different game. If you go into the game expecting it to be reskinned CS:S all of those things seem to not work. After only playing GO for a month I have gotten good at it and actually prefer it to CS:S.

no, cs:go is a horrible game as it sits. It will never replace cs:s.

a good number swapped to css from 1.6 - honestly almost all the 1.6 players i knew that didn't swap was because they were not able to adapt to the new play, and they went from elite status to the starting blocks with everybody else.
not saying this is every case, but its almost every case of all 1.6 players i personally know.
i went over to css immediately, getting it upon release and never looking back. source obviously has its problems, and every new game will too. i feel GO has potential and could mold into that more advanced CSS we all crave.

we'll have to see how it pans out. but if GO evolves nicely, i can see the majority of CSS players embracing it much quicker and easier than 1.6 players ever would accept anything other than 1.6

Csgo can only been "good" if everyone plays it and gives their feedback. You can't have a good game if you just hate it and don't want to try and make it better IE source. All 1.6 players hated change and thus source was horrid until late 08 when they started changing things..
