Uninstalling your game and your files isn't your problem, it's your internet. Find out how many mbs a second your up and down is. Also are you on wifi or an Ethernet cord?

Bandwidth could be your problem as well, if you have laptops/tablets/ipods/consoles connected to your internet turn them off so they don't eat your bandwidth up.

Well if it lags in single player games it could also be your video cards are either bad, out-dated, or some other thing.

Goto www.speedtest.net and run a Speed Test. It's real simple, then click "Share Results" and then the COPY button and paste the image here.

i feel ya, i have the same problem but mine only occurs at like 6 PM onward.

mine is 500 ping average though.

I'm using a laptop on wifi but here is my Speed Test results: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2046001300.png

Well from what I see there your bandwidth is low. It could be any number of the following:

1.) More than 1 computer using your internet
If you have multiple computers on the same modem then you could experience lag if they are streaming movies or downloading/uploading.

2.) Interference in your wireless signal
A number of things can interfere with a wireless signal, from microwave ovens to wiring in your walls. Try directly plugging your laptop into the modem via ethernet cable.

3.) Bad phone lines
If you're the only PC/laptop on your network AND you still experience lag when you hard-wire into the modem then you could have a bad telephone wire/jack. Try replacing the telephone line with a 8ft or shorter line.

4.) Applications on your computer downloading/uploading files
Be sure you turn off torrent programs and other programs that could be updating/downloading in the background.

5.) Fixable problem on your ISP end
You might want to get in touch with AT&T Tech Support(they're available 24/7) and ask them if it's a problem on their end

6.) Your ISP has over-sold internet in your area
If all else fails, it could be that AT&T has just over-sold internet in your area and you're having a latency outage during peak hours. They won't openly admit this without harassment, but if this is the case ask about their 60% rule and get a discount on your bills until the problem is fixed.

Thumbs up to this guy! Was about to post something similarly :)

Cheers Johnny!

Your bandwidth is really low... When you bought your internet package what speeds were they selling you? I recently moved and had to get DSL (I was on AT&T Uverse fiber: I LOVED IT) and my DSL was runny considerably slower than what I was being sold. I called and complained for about a week and got someone out to fix the problem, as it turned out it was my wiring that was the problem but they still fixed it for me. Now My speeds are actually slightly faster than what I purchased :p

Thanks for the help guys it was just cuz i was on wireless. I have a gud ping now and very low lag! Thanks again!
