Trying to put together a few scim teams

The point is to get better lol. And due to the differences if there is ever a team member that can't play if you still want to do it... the nights that you can we can use a few subs.

already been watching esea videos..... and I was hoping to use the event server thursday nights since i have looked at the schedule of events and don't see anything on thursdays.

I'm not speaking for leadership but I don't think using the event server is possible. You would need to set commands onto the server, like configs and league settings. Also, you would need to hold the RCON password, which I do not think they will hand out to anyone other than ECs.

The registry on the server isn't exactly good either.

Watching professional players isn't going to do much for you unless you go out and play for yourself, it does help a bit for spots but that's really all it does for you.

Very bad reg, and you'd have to be an O+ to get rcon/access to change what we'd need.

Ok now we have 27 names so far. As far as the event server goes I could make cfg for it.... or as was discussed as a possibility was renting a different server for the purpose. Which in that case we could have more flexability in our match scheduling.

Servers would be cheap.. a few people put in maybe 2 or 3 dollars a month. Wouldn't be un plausible to have two servers.

Ok so it looks like imak is going to be awesome and rent a server for the scrims..... launch will be soon so teams can get practice in.... here are the rules so far for the scrim.

Scrim rules.

5 on 5.

Tournaments will be as follows with 6 teams.
double elimination.

No decoy sprays.

Matches will be 20 min per side with a 5 min break in between.

Everyone votes team captians.

Team captains will draft one player from the list at a time.

No hacking.

In the event of a tie there will be a 5 round tie-breaker. Best 3 of 5 wins.

I will be posting a poll for team captains soon.... we still need a few more players so please try to get a few more. Also we will have 6 teams.
