How do I hold all this hate on 2fort snipers?

You're all just mad. 2fort is one of the worst maps to snipe on because it's so easy to get trapped/countered. The same goes for Turbine. And while I agree that there are plenty of "snipers" who love to stand on the battlements and bodyshot all day long, there are as many quality snipers who know how to use the map to their advantage.

Edit: and by "worst" I mean least suited for sniping.

It's a bit more than that Jake. I personally feel that 2fort and snipers in general take more heat than they deserve, and that there should be a thread defending the class.

I enjoy sniping on 2fort because the constricted environment forces me to move around. I hate standing around waiting for enemies to pop their heads out; I think it's boring and cheapens the sniper class. 2fort makes sniping more exciting, and it actually increases the skill needed to be successful as sniper- it forces you to rely on reflex and accuracy under pressure, instead of just patience.

So yes, I do believe this deserves its own thread.
