How do i fix my latency

I been lag so much when I play games . I got the latency number pretty high 400 to 160 could u guys show me how to clear that latency number

check for viruses, make sure nothing else is using your internet while gaming, don't download things while gaming, also what kind fo internet do you have?

how do i check my viruses???i have 2 download on paused my interne att wireless the latency just start to happen not to long i say about 4 day ago never had a problem with it into now

Check with your ISP and make sure speeds are coming to you correctly.

Run scans with TDSSKiller, Malwarebytes and Super antispyware. Also suggest running a defrag like Auslogics and a Cleaner like CCleaner. Hope all that helps out.
