Meh...
This is so true, I played MapleStory for a very long time and I just quit because of all the kids spending all their parents' money to beat me.
wasted a year on this game. there is nothing to do but grind. if you enjoy grinding perhaps you should work at starbucks.
also be prepared to rely on farming for insanely rare items (the rarest have drop rates of literally one in a billion) because the only way to be worth your salt is with cash and if you don't want to be dropping hundreds of real dollars on boosts and other stuff you need to be getting some lucky drops to earn the 300 million mesos you need to buy half decent gear. for some scale, a boss monster will drop about 1000 mesos.

Btw that game is 9 year old game(It was released at 2003 in Korea, I played it while back then), what do you expect hahahaha
ijji.com was the first spot where I played maple story, about 3-4 years ago or ish.
