PS3 + CS:GO = Unicorns

I think I might like it too much. I'm about to grab it for my Xbox. And KB/M support on PS3 is enticing.

It's not a bad thing if I have all versions right?

I just got it on both PS3 and Xbox, I like it so much more on the consoles then I do on the PC. I just feels right on the consoles...

No hackers on the ps3? lol

the data base its self has been hacked twice so far, so i would imagine that it would be 10X easier to hack the game rather then everyone's profile again. Just sayin...

Rumors, most likely. Any proof for those accusations? The PS3 was only modded once, and never again. This shows how secure a PS3 is, unlike an Xbox which is modded for every version. :P

It's not the PS3 hardware that was affected, but the database which is hosted on the internet, meaning, it may be vulnerable to hackers. I didn't say that Sony was experienced with securing its database, but I'm talking about its hardware. It's been literally modded once since its release, in 2006. Also, it was not down for three months, and that's a different story. You're talking about the anonymous situation, when they DDOSed the PSN servers, which already happened to Steam, but not by anonymous.

Also, Spades1, If you're referring to Anonymous DDoSing the PS3 servers, that's not hacking.

1. PSN's network was shut down to prevent anyone from using the database after it was obtained by an unknown source
2. Steam wasn't "DDOS"ed, a database from 2006 was obtained by a 3rd party
3. Just so everyone is clear, having an aimbot in a game of Halo =/= breaching a database to get information.

That's what I'm saying, but he Spades was talking about Anonymous who DDOSed PSN servers back in 2010.

i thought CS:GO was a multi-platform? so you can play with people that are playin PS3 and Xbox??

PC players were obviously scared of PS3 players, so they pretended to be PS3 players and complained about that feature. Valve decided to take that feature off.

i was just going off of him saying that there are no hackers on the PS3, which is crazy because there is hackers for everything even phones.

CS:GO for anything other then the PC will more then likely end up like TF2 for consoles.

I meant a cheater, not hacker.

Well, Valve was able to keep up with DLC/updates for all the console versions of their more recent games (L4D, L4D2, P2)
