Hi guys, I just got a Cyborg R.A.T. 5 made by Mad Catz and I LOVE it. Looks like something from Star trek and preforms like a dream. The DPI setting are sooo handy depending on your game usage. Adjustable stock for different hand sizes and slots that fit customization parts which is a huge plus. A precision shot button which is my favorite feature. Also has adjustable weights for the bottom to reduce the jumpyness of the extreme DPI settings. All in all I highly recommend this to any gamer! $79.99 Can

I hear many people are happy with those but I'd prefer my Razer Deathadder

Yeah I know a bunch of people with it. I ask them how they like it. They all say they "love it! This is my second one."

I ask how long they had there first one... All of them say for under a year and I laugh.

No mater how good the product is... If it can't stand up for a year, it is crap.

Love my Copperhead I have had going on 6 years now... Works like a champ, only had to replace the feet on the bottom. Just wish it had more then two extra buttons tho.

Used a Copperhead for years as well, great mouse. I did buy a new one about every 2 years just for the newness of it. I recently switched to a DeathAdder and love it.

I almost bought the Transformouse listed above. I didn't need everything it was capable of but I was really tempted.
 
Wow, that mouse looks fancy! I really need to get an upgrade.. I'm using a basic wired Microsoft optical mouse that hurts my hand after a while of gaming.. lol I have a nice backlit keyboard, but have always skimped on the mouse.
 
If anything should be skimped on, it should be the keyboard. When it comes to PC gaming, the mouse imho is far more important than the keyboard. You always want to get a mouse that feels comfortable no matter how long you use it for. I currently use the Razer Diamondback. Ive had it going on like 4 years now. The only issue is that crumbs get into it (common tho with mice & keyboards). I would like to replace it, but not interested in spending over $50 for a gaming mouse. I may look on ebay once I finished paying off the loan to get my car fixed. Replacing both my keyboard & mouse are like the lowest priority for my computer.

I completely agree! A mouse is WAY more important for playing online games unless its WOW LOL :) But on the other hand It is a lower Priority then MOST components depending on your budget and competitive nature. Me i'm a toy freak! PS. The razer mice are rally nice as well! :drool:

This. Im on my second Deathadder in about 8 years now. Although this mouse designed by BMW did catch my attention..

Do gaming mice actually give you an edge or is it mostly just hype? I've been getting along just fine with my ordinary Logitech for about 2 years.
 
I am using a CM Storm Inferno and i love it. Really comfy. Including the left and right mouse buttons there are a total of 9 programmable buttons. before that i had a CM Storm Sentinal advanced which i loved before it died (kids knocking it of the desk to many times. my favorite mouse i owned despite being wireless was a Logitech MX Revolution it had 8 programmable buttons, a metal scroll wheel with left and right tilt (great for reloads and alt/ rate of fire changes) plus a thumb scroll wheel that can cycle 3 different keys great for cycling nades kits and other weapons.
