Hello From Afghanistan

Hello BF Division!

Thought I'd pop in and say I'm still kick'n it around good ol Afghanistan...3 months down 9 to go!

Thought I'd be out here advising these guys on C208 Ops...but got shoved up to be a Afghan Air Force Mi17 helo advisor to the Afghan Det. Commander here out in this BFE FOB. Best way to explain whats going on is the rage comic I made below...

Anyway hope things are going well for you all. Hopefully I'll get a free min during my R&R in March to hop on BF for a few mins.

Anyway gotta run...Peace to the Mid-East and all that

Keep your head down, no heroics, watch your 6, you love the sand, no YOU LOVE THE SAND, and remember your mother will kill you if you don't come home for supper.

Thanks for the well wishes all. Things are still going good. Will try and keep in touch and maybe hop onto vent in the near future. Amazing...couldn't even imagine doing that couple years ago even at the bigger bases...times they are a moving.
