Hey all, I recently sold my old laptop to my dad and I am now in the market for finding a new one. I will most likely be getting it around Christmas time, I have a budget of around $1,000 and I am looking for something that will last a good 2-3 years if possible. I would like to be able to play most games on regular settings, not ultra detailed and etc with minimal problems. I have so far found this one [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Y580-15-6-Inch-Laptop-Dawn/dp/B009AEPQDI/ref=dp_ob_title_ce"]here[/ame] to offer the most in terms of performance for price, I was wondering what you guys thought. It has a i7 3630 with a 2gb 660m and 6gb of RAM. And if you have any personal suggestions please feel free to post them here!

Very similar to your one, this laptop has a i7 3610 2.3 GHz Quad core processor. 15.6 inch. With the same capacity in hard drive but having a faster fan. I suggest having a faster fan so your laptop don't get overheated. (Mines 5400 rpm and it overheats and shuts down on me when I do intense gaming sometimes)
It's with 6GB ram and with Nvidia GT 630M 2GB graphics.

For color not really. I am not really into the looks but more the performance and such. Also after looking at your HP laptop I would like to mention I would love to find a laptop that does not use integrated graphics and has it's own actual GPU. Thanks for the ASUS link though! I will keep that in mind.
