Saints Row 3 Infinite loading time

I've googled all around for a fix for this, but none of them have worked for me. I've reinstalled, verified, ran the DXSETUP.exe in the game, opened ports for it, deleting saves and redownloading them, and installing new graphics drivers. I really would love to play this with a friend, and it worked fine in the past. My only suspect is my new ivy processor and motherboard, which are the only changes. If anyone has a solution that's worked for them, I'd love to hear.

Edit: Found a fix to it. My old save must have been corrupt or something, it refused to load. Made a new character and no issues loading. Oh well.

So it doesnt do it on a new save? Could easily be corrupt files. Edit: Didnt see you post that.
