My new Cyber Power® PC™

Just bought my new pc today, estimated delivery is the 27th. I tweaked this system though, upgrading the core 2 duo 3.0ghz to a quad core Q6600 2.4ghz. I upgraded from the liquid cooling to a Vigor Gaming thermal electric cooler, that way I can get good cooling on the cpu and not worry about condensation build up over the processor, or hoses breaking. I also upgraded the mother board and added 3 extra case fans. Also added was a monitor because I'm still using a CRT After I get it, I'll be getting some 1066 DDR2 ram to swap the 2gb for 4gb. I'll use my SAITEK Eclipse keyboard and the logitech optical mouse it's coming with. Futre plans also include a sound card, but I'm going pretty much with what I've got.

Nice T_T I upgraded to this computer a year ago

from a 865 MHZ processor to a 1.6 duo now more powerful stuff are coming out.

T_T how tech changes so fast.

I'm gonna get a PC next instead of buying this nonupgradable Laptop.

You may want to install another 4gb of RAM. Also, are you an overclocker? If so then the thermo electric cooler is nice, along with watercooling. If not, th its kind of a waste, as the Q6600 at stock does not make a lot of heat. But I don't know you that well so do you overclock? I have my Q6600 at 3.3Ghz with a TT120 on stock volts

Ignis: Yeah, I plan to overclock, that's why I got the TEC, and according to my friend, that particular TEC is pretty decent. I got lucky that's the only TEC they have. I probably won't push it too hard though, since my room has a tendancy to get warm. I'm thinking maybe just up to like 3.2. I'll definately be upgrading that ram after I get it. Already got some ram from newegg lined up XD

Yeah if you do not overclock the CPU, then IMO you should have gone with the dual core 3.0, but since you got good cooling overclock. Upgrade the RAM, but nice.

According to my computer buff friend and some tech stuff I've read and seen on tiger direct's youtube channel and a few others, the Q6600 is a beast of an overclocking chip. I don't think I'll push it past 3.5. 4.0 or higher would be great, but I don't want to work it that hard.
