I find that bots are incredibly easy to go against as spy. They don't suspect unless you bump into them.

But maybe that's just because most of the regulars on our servers are pro

The thing with spy is just getting comfortable with the fact that you need to know when you should go in for a stab, and always avoid walking into people, and never NEVER look directly at people. Also bots have some minor errors where they are very observant making spy rather hard in bot games. Just play spy on something like a payload or cp, I find ctf is pretty hard to play spy on because everything is linear and you have to go charging at the other team.

Also, remember that your knife does damage whether you backstab or not. Most people don't expect this so it's easy to take advantage of. Just learn when to go for the stab, and when to go for the poke.
