IE9 White screen

My step mother uses IE9 to pay bills in the house. It gets a white screen and she cannot click on anything. She believe i have put a curse on the computer and that i broke it.

Any help? i Tried internet options>advanced and ticked the GPU thing.

No help.

Windows 7, 64bit home edition.

Is this issue only reproducible on a single website? or every site?

Also, IE9 is out of date; if you can't get IE10 I would use a different browser.

I have never, ever opened Internet exploader on my laptop.(Yes Exploader, cause it crashes all the time), mostly because anything you can do on Exploader, you can do on Chrome, and better.
As for the White screen, my bro had the same problem. Updating to the newest version fixed it up real nice.
Also, check for windows updates. I know MS is always breaking and fixing things with them.
I really wish windows was more like Linux.(If something breaks, just remove it.)
