HL2 Based Games Crashing on load

Playing either CS:S, Dod:S , or HL2, My game will crash as soon as its finished on loading.
I believe its caused by overheating issues since one of my case fans don't work, I opened up the case, and put a small fan facing the Video card.
It worked fine last night.


Specs.
Operating System: Windows Xp
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 , 2.8 Ghz
Motherboard: Asus... (Can't remember off my head)
RAM: 512 MB
Video Card: Nvidia Geforce fx 5200, 128 MB RAM
Sound Card: Soundmax
Hard drive: 120 GB's

Lock this please,

All I had to do was Delete my Cstrike folder and Reload the game.
