I was playing the Beta too. I guess 90% of the people who applied for it got in, so much for a "closed beta". More like marketing scheme to me. I don't expect much less from EA anyway.

But this game looks and plays awesome. I'm definitely going to be playing it on release.

Very nice. I haven't been following development of the game very much. Will there be options for dedicated servers? It would be easier as my time for gaming is usually very different from others, and it would be nice to hop in and out at will.

SimCity will require players to be logged into EA's Origin service to play the game, including when playing single player. An active internet connection will be required every time the game is launched and must be maintained throughout gameplay.
