So I know that we only have like 2-3 (that ive noticed) on the forums. I need your attention. Im looking to upgrade my current setup 2 cdjs & a mixer to a usb dj controller & will start out with a windows laptop until i get more $$ set aside. I will probably only have around $500-600 to work with when it comes to getting a new laptop & dj controller. The reason why I say windows laptop is because I have a dj gig coming up in April & with the amount of $$ that I get with my job, not to mention the loan that I have out, I simply cannot go about gettin a Macbook (or whatever theyre called right now). After my loan is knocked out, then I can start to focus on a specific Macbook later.
Now for the dj controller, nothing over $200. If I can find something around $100 thats decent if not good quality, then ill be open to it. There was a Hercules dj controller that came w/ Virtual DJ LE (which i didnt mind since I already have the free home edition on my desktop right now) that really caught my eye, but its no longer around.
Any ideas/suggestions are welcome. I know that the choices will be limited, but unfortunately its my income that is limiting the choices right now.
