Hey I'm new to Counter Strike Source but so far like it, just thought I'd introduce myself since I will be playing on your servers quite a bit , at least while I can. Anyway, I'm 21 years old, Married to my best friend and have been in the US Army a little over 3 years as a 11-Bravo Infantryman who has been to Airborne school, Ranger School and deployed one time for 15 months. I have 2 purple hearts and a ARCOM for getting shot and blown up n stuff.. so nothing to awesome. Anyway my wife is a foreign linguist so she speaks a lot of different languages for the government and brings in most the money hah.. I drive a '85 Mustang and working on buying a newer Audi.. But yes, if you want any other info ask me questions i'm always happy to answer questions.. sometimes.

Wow, we've got a real hero! I can't imagine being deployed somewhere in Afghanistan. How does the action feel/look like? I'm curious, because whenever I think about how it would be to be a soldier in Afghanistan I just think of Battlefield lol.

Ever thought about joining eGO?:)
 
Well yeah, I thought about it, at least the Counter Strike Division. As far as action goes you don't feel anything your adrenaline pumps, veins get tightened, your heart beats at a million miles an hour, everything goes super slow but was really fast, you black out, you forget a lot of what happened unless something snaps you out. nothing like any of these games.. that goes on for about 30-45 mins or whenever you move from cover and positions and you hear snaps and dust flies around you... but fire fights last for hours and hours sometimes so you snap out and get tired as hell and have to sleep.. what are your guys' standings on swear words and such before I mess up? And do you go on Ventrilo, thats prob the best place for me to communicate.

Our general policy is if you can say it in-front of your mother or priest/religious figure then it's acceptable.
A lot of people are on our ventrilo server. There's usually someone on at all times of the day.
