Server setup and some comments.

I think I'm the newest member in this clan, but I would like to comment on the setup of the server.

There is a serious problem on the number of snipers in the game. is impossible to win when the entire team is playing sniper and no one comes to the objectives. In my humble opinion I would leave 3 slots for sniper. no more.

And when you switch to the next map, players are in other scuads and automatically change sides. I think that also affects the gameplay, because usually I look for clanmates and try to join them, then, the server switches me to another scuad.

2 points I think are important and could hopefully solve it., The rest of the setup of the server think it works perfect and the work of the admins works excelent.

Which server are you talking about ?

In regards to snipers, we cant really put a limit on how many snipers there in a game. People are free to chose whichever class they want to play. Its annoying for sure, but there is nothing we can do about it.

Team scrambling is essential as well, while playing with friends is always enjoyable, if all eGO or a majority are on one side, it will unbalance the server which will make it less popular. We try to keep it as balanced as possible. The best thing you can do is hang out on vent with the other members playing the game, even if you are on opposing sides.

I assume you are talking about BC2 and I can answer both of those questions.

As for limiting kits we have always had a policy of allowing people to play the way they want to and this goes for the number of snipers we allow on a team. I have been in your place before where your entire team in sniping and just will not move up. It is unfortunate but your best bet is to try and get your squad mates to play different kits and try and encourage teamwork.

As for the scramble splitting squads that is a problem that cannot be fixed currently. The scramble plugin we have for BC2 is far less sophisticated than the BF3 one. The BC2 scramble plugin simply assigns a number to everyone and then randomly assigns them to teams. There is no option to keep squads. We had to decide between scrambling the server to help keep it balanced and keeping squads together. We decided that scrambling the server and breaking up squads would help the server more than breaking up squads would hurt it.

I can understand your concerns about unnessary flaming but that
doesn't leave us much to post up in the forums about.
