Hosting with Vista

Hello guys,

I got a little problem here. When i had my old computer with xp on it it worked fine with hosting dedicated servers and hosting on WC3 and such. but then i got my new computer with vista on it and i could not host any more. Router was same and everything. all exept for a new modem. now i cant host dedicated server or any games on anything else. i opened up windows defender turned off my windows firewall and opened everything on mcafee. nothing has worked. any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need to know anything specific feel free to ask.

make sure that it is running with admin abilitys

As stated, make sure you are admin and that your windows firewall is disabled or that the ports needed to host your game are open both your router/firewall and your Windows firewall.
