So, rumor has it that either in the 50th anniverssary episode in november or in the season finale the doctors name will be revealed, what's your take on that?

personally i dont want the doctors name to be revealed

And then they could be stupid and do a spin off (if this weren't on BBC the chances of this would be much much higher). But seriously, I'm sure at this point they have some reason for not telling his name IF the 50th anniversary special has anything to do with his real name because obviously consequences would happen if you knew his name. Silence will fall maybe?

In the prequel episode BBC released online to the finale, the Doctor and Clara both say they know who each other are and their biggest secrets. And that they found all this out the day they went to Trenzalore.
