Photography work and photo retouching!

Hey everyone!

I am new to eGO. I have been playing on the servers for a little while but just applied 3 days ago to get in. And the eGO gods graced my right of passage.

I figured I would post here in the art section.

1) I particularly love to fix old photos. Retouch them. You know, the ones with tears, creases, color problems. So, if you or a friend is in need of that, please send me a PM and I will do my best! Or you can use the army of reddit, but it is summer and I need to stay busy.

2) I am a photographer myself and plan on pursuing it as a career after college(majoring in marketing). If you would like, you can take a peak at my work through my website. Just putting the link here is a lot easier than uploading different images.

My camera is a Canon Rebel T3i. Only cost me about $500. So not to expensive, but yes, it is quite nice.

Wow. Just now saw all of these responses! Sorry for getting back so late. Haven't been able to play much lately.

I used the kit lens for about a week and then purchased the nifty fifty. Canon 50mm f/1.8 and that is what a lot of the images on my site are taken with. About 2 months ago, I went all in on an expensive Sigma 35mm f/1.4 because of the outstanding reviews. This lens is outstanding. All of the images on my site that are under the street fashion, and the first 4 on the main page were taken with this lens.

Been thinking about picking up a 50mm soon. I have the 35mm f/2 from canon as my main lenses right now. How's your overall experience with it?

My 35mm is from Sigma, not Canon. The distortion on it is pretty darn good. Sigma has really stepped up their game in the past year with the new Art series line up. And for any distortion that may be present, I have a preset in Lightroom when importing, it adds 9 degrees to the distortion the other way. So all of the images are "fixed" by the time they are on my laptop.

Yeah I've been seeing some awesome shots coming from sigma lenses lately. I meant the 50mm btw are you happy with it? It's not to expensive so I'll probably pick it up either way.

Absolutely stunning images that come out of it for the $120 price tag. Was worth every penny and more.
