Apparently the History Channel decided the best way to commemorate the invasion of Normandy was 12 hours of staged haggling.

The network showed a marathon of Pawn Stars all day yesterday.

Come on now. Pawn Stars won't distract too much attention so people would able to change channels and get memorials from other places.

Now if it was shark week, then we're talking serious stuff.

haha they keep that show running for so long, gotta love it but would have been nice to see something about dday for sure.

RIP History Channel. I won't forget the times we had in my youth :(

you would think, however much the shows are liked or disliked, the HISTORY channel should have done some history. <face palm> I blame this on the multitude of couch dwellers watching all the crap that is always on religiously. I will watch a sit com now and then, or sports. other than that, its just not what it once was. 2 thumbs down. :(

History Channel
Becoming history, every day.

Seriously thought, as much as I like pawn stars. I miss history channel's real historical programming. When I was younger I used to watch tons of shows about ww2, now there are none left.
