I can can get Call of Duty 4 and I wanted to know your opinion.

I'd say just go rent it for a console if you have one. Try it on there before you buy it. A few of my friends love it, few of them hate it and want to take it back.

Its too much like all the other CODs for me. If you like them then you'll probably like this one, the only difference is night vision. i just get annoyed when I shoot a guy in the face and he doesn't die. This has that mod syndrome like Battlefield 2142, they just re-skinned one of their old platforms and gave it a shiny new package to make tons of money. Even if you really did like them you might find yourself getting bored of them. I am a huge splinter cell fan but for some reason I could never finish Chaos Theory.

My suggestion is to go for Crysis, but to each his own.

I absolutely love it... I just wish the console would adopt a PC style multiplayer w/ dedicated servers game types and maps... this matchmaking (like halo3) crap is sooo annoying.

I've not tried the other cods but I did pick up cod4 for the PC. I had to download a hack to get it to work. Slacktivision is so concerned with piracy they seem to have made the game unable to run on some machines. I'm assuming they will patch it sooner or later.

Graphics are pretty kool. It's a little choppy with a lot of people on one server. The helicopter, air strikes, and remote aircraft are kind of stupid... or I just dont quite understand them yet.

Guys, the demo is NOTHING like the actual game. Atleast the gameplay in the demo crapply shows it and the lighting and stuff is horrible in it.

I got it for 360 and showed it to my brother ( he played the demo with everything max) and there was no comparision. the 360 totaly blew it out of the water.


I HIGHLY recomend it for console. Computer if you dont have a 360
