Hey guys ive been a member on eGO for like 2 years and i got hooked on Gmod for the longest time ever! ive got a few game modes that could grab popularity from Gmod and make eGO grow a little bit more(i dont know a lot of coding just a little bit...so i can fix some..but not a lot) if u guys want or if i can get ahold of the owner/co-owner or a higher rank we could talk about the game modes.

Hey, VIP. There has been much discussion in the past of eGO bringing in support for Garry's Mod, however Council has decided each time that it would not be the best idea due to the resources each server would use. I hope this helps you understand?

yes it does lucas but,if you guys do come to an agreement of doing it let me know i got a few great built gamemodes also i can map and i was wondering if i can help out with the mapping team some time?

Has council considered one of the game modes like Trouble in Terrorist Town or Zombie Survival?

IDk but there is 1 gamemode called Rp(roleplay) on my community that i owned(only stayed up for 2 weeks cuz the provider stole my gamemode and players then sold my info)..but back to what i was saying..those 2 weeks that it was up for it got full everyday after 3 days it went up..i made $60 in 1 week from donations then i left and moved to a new server and spent $45 for a new one but the last server provider killed me..i donated the last $15 to some other community..but yea it was really fun and i know a few coders that can make RP really good

TTT(trouble in terrorist town) to me is not that much fun(can be popular tho)
ZS(Zombie survival) its fun but there are better gamemodes out there than that and they are very hard to populate...u would have to steal others to goto yours

From my experience, RP can get a little out of hand and there would probs be as many rule disputes as there are on the jail server due to characters people end up rping as.
And like Lucas said, resources. Just looking at the eGO server list is pretty big. You're just dumping more onto the load as well as the trouble of keeping them populated. There's already a large mass of servers, best just play on those for now.
(Having little clan-wide gmod stuff could be fun tho)

Just to reiterate what Lucas said, eGO Council has discussed this several times and the resources needed for a Garry's Mod server would need it's own dedicated box pretty much so that it won't impact our other servers, and it can be quite costly for a dedicated server box.

With that being said, feel free to address any concerns / suggestions by using the dropbox.

And mudkip your right on that..but u got to have somebody with years of experience to make rules to get all that stuff solved but I understand. It was always worth a try but gmod requires a lot of things but I'll talk to the leaders about a really cool CSS gamemode I thought of and ty blindly I will talk to them about my CSS idea

Yea CSS can get boring after awhile but gmod does take a lot of work to actually have...and if you want to to be fun then u need custom made addons which is hard for me to do.. If u guys ever want to see my old server let me know its fun but I foprgot to pay for it so they won't let me access my files but its still up
