What is this game you might ask? Well its an old school type of game. The objective is to run around and shoot everything that is in your path, oh and find all the secrets of course.

The game has a lot of cool features like the first one did. This Rise of the Triad game is an updated version of the 1995 Rise of the triad. The objective is still the same. Stop the triads from blowing up California. Along the way you will find some..interesting things like...this mushroom which well.....you see pretty colors!

oh and don't worry, god mode is still in the game like it use to be. You know where you shoot lightning from your hand.

The game is a nice kick back from all the modern fighting games and serious story lines. The game has a lot to offer, like 4 player co-op and such. It will also test your skill seeing as how it has jumping puzzles, blade puzzles and well a lot of interesting puzzles.

I think the main reason though we should all play this game is......the GORE!

and yes, those are his eyeballs.

So if you are interested in a run and gun type of game, well this is one that is so worth getting. Oh and this game was going to be called wolfenstien 3D 2: Rise of the triad....but it became a standalone. So no you are not going crazy, its suppose to look like this.

It looks cool but more like "free" or "really cheap" cool.

I think that's a cool looking game. Keep it away from the kids and do gooders but pretty cool!

Looks cool.. in 1998.

True, but if you only buy games on the graphics then you have a problem good sir! Graphics only pleases the eyes, game play and story line play a big part too. I mean look at bf3 and CoD. bf3 was fun for a bit until huge amounts of DLC packs and the story line was not up to par. CoD is always the same thing almost every year. Rise of the Triad took a long time to be made, and in 1998 ALL dlc was free. I could argue on many points.

However that is your opinion and everyone has their right to having one.

I miss ROTT. I remember when it first came out -- you couldn't jump, per se, but you had these disk platforms which "jumped" or catapulted you up or sideways -- some of the puzzles, you had to figure out where to bounce, and sometimes even over walls you didn't think were supposed to be jumped over.

"Shroom Mode" was the first time I'd ever seen that sort of thing in a FPS game -- now, we have it in other FPS games and it's kind of a throwback. Just remember, ROTT had it first.

Odear. I am very old.

pfft at least we did not get stuck with CoD and mindless shooting games like today. Older games made you think. Solve puzzles and explore the unknown.
