Battlefield 3 Just wondering...

To simplify it.. Ping is the time it takes for your PC to send and receive information from a certain point. So basically with any game not only BF3 you want to play on servers in your region with the lowest pings. It helps prevent things like lag kills etc. Example is someone is shooting at you while running behind a wall then 1-2 seconds after you get behind the wall you die. Because you and/or the other person has a high ping causing a lag kill. So to prevent getting Bans and/or having people rage at you, Use the proper filters that Battlefield and any other game offers with online play.

Lol I love how u said "to simplify it.." And then there is a paragraph :p. Great explanation tho. Spot on.

But the eGO servers are soooo far away from me. So I just ignore ping issues. ;)

Ping is the sound that is generated from a bullet from my gun hitting the enemy in the head.
