Medic Tips

Since so few people play medic, here are some tips to help those that do become really good at it
- Give your target a 360 view by reporting what's going on around him, without losing him as a target.
- Use the needle gun and bonesaw when the situation is right (the "right" is a judgement call, which involves a couple of parameters such as your target's health and all surroundings.)
- Break off the target when they are a lunatic getting you killed.. let them know. Again a judgement call.
- When ubering, line up players of similar speed and uber 2-3 of them, which isn't always simple.
- STAY ALIVE. Any fool can run into battle trying to "help" but then get killed. Help but stay alive.
- Buff everybody you can. Few medics do that right, they attach to one player and stick to him.
- Pick the right targets for ubers in the right situation. A Pyro uber is much better at taking out sentries if done right.
- When ubering, shield a heavy from SG bullets so he doesn't get knocked back

Cmon guys, go out and support your team! Medics are vital to te victory.

I just played uber on 2fort for the past hour and a half..and then some...

Definatly trying to help the team as a whole.

Getting better at it, especially when people rush the front door, and theres 1 medic for 6 people.

It helps to zap everyone a bit at a time.

Its pretty fun tho.

Whats worse......

2 medics stuck in the sewer...both uber-ready...
