Hey guys!
I just got accepted into your Division and i just wanted to make a post to introduce myself!
My name is Jake, obviously, and i was a COD member Since the day it was Launched! I was a DOD Sewer Rat and that is where I received my "O", then i herd the COD Division was looking for admins to help get things up and running and i was a member ever since!
Anyways i joined eGO when i was like 15, I'm 21 now. I'm an Electrical Engineer major, and i currently have an EE Internship which is going great and i love it! I'm also the complete opposite of a computer junkie! I love computers and buying new parts and upgrading it. but i don't know the first thing when it comes to whats good/bad faster/slower. i usually have people help my find parts, that fit, and that i can afford, then i usually take my computer to work and get help installing it all from our IT guy. haha So, by Opposite of a computer guy, i meant that I'm a big ol' Redneck. I drink beer, lots of it (PBR), I hunt EVERYTHING, Squirrels, grouse, pheasant, coyote, deer (Gun and Bow), turkey, antelope. I'm a semi pro water skier. And i love my Suzuki z400! I got out of town a lot on the weekends for all of the activities usually all summer long up until December. My family owns a Camper that we leave parked year-round. so we don't go up north in the winter that much.
Now, I have recently reformatted my PC, because i bought a new i5 and motherboard. ( i came from AMD ) so my CS:S Config is not set up, and if i remember correctly there were commands that helped with reg and fps and connection and everything really. haha so is there a post with all those commands anywhere? Also, on the website here, it says i am maul verified with eGO privileges, but i don't think i have admins rights in the server, which is fine until i take a training class for a refresher, but is there something i need to put into my config for that as well?
thanks for the help and it will be nice meeting all of you and what not. I mostly have been playing on the DUST 2 sever under the name Jakie bangarang, then last night i switched it to =(eGO)= Jake [exCOD].
oh and another question,... are we not putting the "TM" symbol on our tags anymore? back in the day were were required to, (but in COD it didnt allow you so i don't know if anything changed with that.) but last night i saw some people with it and some w.o.
