Battlefield 4 bf4 lag spikes

Okay guys quick question:

Does anyone else get insane lag spikes? Ill play a game for a solid 20 minutes without a problem, then all of a sudden I start rubber banding, and lagging so bad that ill do an action like three times (Say like, deploy a parachute). Im not sure if this is me, or the college network I am on. My ping usually stays low throughout this, but I've seen it spike to 500-999 as well. I just want to know if this is my side or their side. This goes for any servers I play on. Sometimes Ill join and its crappy connection, or the map will change and then connection will be bad. I just want to know if I need to give up on bf4 until I move off campus or if this is something I can just wait a week or two for. Thanks,

Dont give up.
All servers and all player get this lag. Game was just released, it will get smoother soon.

I'm getting consistently 1 force close of BF4 every day since release and often times 2 or more times a day. Program not responding... lag has been fine though for the most part.

See I thinks its my connection. TF2 use to run fine a month ago and now that lags almost the same as bf4 does. I think its my college connection that I have no control over. It's very frustrating, that my pc is basically a single player machine for the next year.
