question about monitors

Far as I know...gives you more frames and smoother experience.
Well let me give you a little feedback on this. When it comes to Hz (hertz), it will pertain more to actual hdtv's than it will monitors. I pulled up 1 monitor on Newegg and not only was it an open box item (most of us immediately look away from such an item), but its price was almost $400. Of course part of the reason for the price is because it is 3-D ready, but thats not the main focus here.
I really dunno if the Hz will factor into a better fps experience, but if anything, I know that having a better contrast ratio will help load it better & crisper. Overall, the following are 2 great monitors that I would recommend (depending upon your price range & what monitor size you want):

Also, seeing as how black friday is coming up at the end of the month, I would recommend checking out 1 of the black friday websites as they always get the ads from different retail stores approx a month before the sales are ready to be put on the shelf. If you aren't a fan of waiting in line for that banger of a deal (I really don't blame ya on that), then a few companies have started posting pre-black friday deals online. I know Newegg put up some pre-black friday deals last year because I got a 1tb internal hard drive from them for $60 (and its still in the box to this day).
