Why did I quote that in my thread title?
Simply because of this reason:

COMPLAINERS.

"I HATE MY MOUSE"
"Lagggg!" (Ping is 50)
"My computer is too weak"

How many times have you guys come across people who constantly complain about problems that aren't really the problem?
 
People who complain about stuff that isn't really the problem is the reason why I don't play so good. Man, they slow me down.
 
Well, a low ping doesn't mean no lag. I've been lagging with a ping around the 40's and 50's on wireless.
 
^^ a wireless never has a stable connection however.
yeah ive come across it alot, i remember someone in the clan complaining about mouse problems.
i usually just ignore them and move along

Edit: Also, low pings really don't mean no lag. You can still get lag spikes that are too brief to affect your ping but will definitely prevent you from dodging that rocket or shooting that person in the head. Computers can also lock up or run slow for a few seconds, possibly from a background process. People will often call this lag, as well.

Chill out and just let 'em go on, unless it's a truly constant thing.

Hehehe I'm in Korea and I don't think lag matters. My ping is 150-180 on 2fort and Dustbowl but on Well and Gravel I get like 230-260 its not that bad. I really don't care as long as I get to back stab someone I'm fine. Well I'm using a pretty good computer using Server 2003 x64 Edition so I can use all of the 8 gb of ram. And I have a 150GB 10,000 RPM HDD and another 500 GB 7200 RPM HDD. And to top it off Korean Internet is really fast. My friend has a connection of 400 mbps! I was like no way, because it would burn up! But it really was 400!
 
Yeah Korea, especially north korea, has an insane amount of broadband bandwidth.
personally i havent used it but since the server is probably in the US, ping 150 wouldnt be surprising.
just to confirm, where exactly are the servers located?
 
I love the ones that say "god, I need a new pc - I can't snipe" while I was sniping on a 5700 geforce.
 
Wireless is my enemy...I don't usually complain about it though, unless I can't load web pages b/c all my roommates are on bittorrent and my router doesn't support wireless QoS. Argh.
 
Funny enough, I learned to snipe on TFC with a 4800 baud modem. I had to compensate for a 800 ping, so I got decent when my connection did :)
