Battlefield 4 How do you guys play this game?

All I can really suggest it jump in vent with us and we can help you out, squad up with some guys and work together, I know I always get more kills that way. But was others have said find a gun that fits what you want to do and you are good with. (this may take a while, I know it did for me)

Thanks again guys. I'll never be able to explain why I am crouched around a corner, aiming at that corner 4 feet away, and a guy running around it, where I am unseen and he is making all the noise in the world, will manage to kill me even though I fired on him first as soon as he came around, crouched and sighted in, and he's moving. It's this scenario over and over again. I'm telling you, I am not doing anything stupid. I'll hit like 0-7 and just quit sometimes.

I tried joining Vent once for BF3 and wasn't allowed to join any rooms. Are they split up into different rooms for different squads? I am happy to try this.

Nope! For the most part you can just jump in any room, see what server people are on the same server and ask em to squad up.

Yeah do exactly as the frozenbox says, it makes the game way more fun, you make friends and you get more kills

Thanks for all the tips gents.
So last night's update must have done wonders for my game. I pulled way up on the k/d ratios and was able to pull out some nicer total scores.

That, and it turns out I had a hard drive in my machine that was a bit flaky and I think was beating up on my CPU as I was playing. So I wasn't nuts... there really was something wrong.
Hey either way, this game is way fun now. See you guys out there.

When I started playing, since the mechanics are much more in-depth than COD, I had to change the way I played almost every game. In COD I can just run around and shoot and end with a decent K/D in a game, but in Battlefield I had to slow down. I spent a few games in BF3 just watching others play and started copying them. Eventually you will get used to the way the game plays and you will surely dominate.
