Battlefield 4 Competitive Play?

Greetings, everyone!

I'm rather new here, so I'm not sure how many things work within this community itself. However, I am wondering if eGO still has a presence within the competitive scene in Battlefield, and if there are plans to further it within Battlefield 4?

I'm curious because it's something that I got a taste of within BF3 playing with several people in preparation for Project PTFO as well as other competitions while part of the BIB clan. But I was never a participant in any of the events due to time constraints and the like. But it's something that I've wanted to actually get into for quite a while.

So any input on this subject would be much appreciated and quite helpful!
