Wow. I really like their stuff. The mouse looks like a souped up MX518. That's exciting enough to me that I think I'll pick one up when it's released to try it out.

I love the keyboard as well, but I need an ergonomic keyboard (being a programmer, comfort is a must), so I'll stick with my Microsoft Natural 4000.

Old school analog one probably. The laser ones are so much more responsive. Took me months before I could do fine motions for things like sniping, but now I don't even have to think about it.

Mostly though, it's way more comfortable. My arthritis almost never flares up anymore, no matter how long I play.
 
Up until recently I had been using a Logitech corless Optical mouse.. and for my purposes it was perfect... once TF2 came out.. and I got back into gaming (haven't played much in the past few years)... I was having good days.. but many bad days... so after coming across articles on "gaming mice" looking for reviews for mobo's, cpu's etc to build my "new pc" I decided to look at the mice.

I tried the G5 and while I really liked it.. the CORD was a major pisser for me... keep getting in the way... and since it was semi "rigid" (was still "new") the cord would nudge the mouse at the worse times. SO I wanted to get a hold of the G7.. noone locally carried it.. and I didnt want to mess with mail order. One day, found 2 on clearance at a local Circuit City and got both (one for me and one for my bro in law)... tried it and returned the G5 the next day. I love the G7.

And after pairing it recently with a Razer Exact Mat (speed side)... I've been flying again =).

Most people that game don't use cordless mice.
It is debatable, but some people say that there is a slight delay when using them.
I have to agree, but that is just my opinion.
 
I love my Razer Copperhead, I wouldn't trade it for any mouse in the world.
The drivers aren't that great though, sometimes they break and some buttons don't work, but I love the mouse so much that I just don't care. :P
 
I use a Lachesis. Since I started using an exactmat I absolutely LOVE it. 2 of the buttons are totally useless though, unless you happen to have deformed fingers ;) . The exactmat is the most awesome mouse pad I've ever used. It's HUGE though!

The only thing I don't like about the lachesis is it's a "finger" mouse. I prefer a palm mose because of my big hands but I'm getting used to it. It might palm for someone with smaller hands though.
 
I built my computer a little over a year ago and got myself a Razer Diamondback for fairly cheap and love it a whole lot! I like the long and slender compared to the G5 shorter/stubbier feel. I paired it up with a Saitek Eclipse keyboard and it does the trick
 
Yeah, I use a G5. I like it very much. I don't have that stupid blue stuff on it though. The older Crimson/silver one. Love the fabric cord too!

I do not consider this as a gaming mouse though, but for work it seems great.
 
Even through my dislike for Logitech in general, I picked up the MX518 about 30 minutes before the WTB started. I'm very happy with it. I had to take the first one back because the middle button had issues, but now it's all good. It's not the 4000dpi monster that the Razer Lachesis was (518's only 1800dpi), but that was just overkill.
 
I have had an MX Revolution for a while now, and even after all of Flush's ravings about how it isnt a gaming mouse, I still really like it. For the most part, its really comfortable to me, but it may just be that my hand is the perfect size for it, and I find that the extra buttons are small enough that I dont hit them by accident, yet large enough to use them the second I want to. i may be a bit biased because I haven't tried many other mice, but so far, this is my favorite .
 
I must be the only person here who actively uses the Microsoft Sidewinder mouse. I'm probably not as picky as some of you, but where I am picky is the side buttons, and I like the side buttons on that mouse the best. Their location puts them in such a spot that it's easy hold one down and not overly affect my mouse movement in game. I use my bottom one for my push-to-talk button. I've been experimenting with the top button, but I think I've settled on it just being my Medic button for easy access.

I would have to disagree with Hobbs' rating on design and give it a 4. I like the detent on the right side of the mouse that lets me just grip the mouse with my pinky and thumb if need be. But I do agree that the quality does feel a little cheap. Especially if you try to press mouse 1 or 2 in the wrong spot -- the click can feel kind of mushy.

In all, it's a big jump over the Gen 1 Intellimouse Explorer that I was still using until last month.
