Anyone know of any..gaming Ergo Keyboards?

I type alot for home-work. Err.... work at home.

Mainly advertisments on craigslist.

I love to use an Ergo keyboard, but would like one that might have a few gamer features like a left side Z pad or something to that nature.

Or....should I ressurect my nostromo N52? and just get a cool ergo keyboard?

Right now i'm using a Saitek keyboard and G5 mouse.
 
Unfortunately, the industry seems to think that gaming geeks don't care about comfort. I had a G15 for a while, but finally got fed up and got a MS Natural and a keypad for gaming.
 
Microsoft Natural 4000 is the way to go. I have one at home and one at work. They are great keyboards. Definitely the most comfortable keyboard I have ever used. Everything else feels like crap by comparison.

I game just fine with it, but if you can't, use whatever helps you game in addition to the keyboard.
 
I think thats what i'll do...

I work at a car dealer, and Craigslist ads are money for us...its getting somewhat irritating and tiresome on this cramped saitek keyboard.

i have basicle the same keyboard as above just no space in the middle like that, its like one that came with our comp lol
 
I JUST bought a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard (4000!) and it's sooo awesome. It's taking a bit of time to get used to but I've only had it for 2 days so far and I haven't actually gotten to my homework. I got it just a day AFTER I had a paper due so I didn't get the practice I had hoped to get.

But so far this thing is so magnificently comfortable. The huge reverse slope is just surprisingly addictive. I tried to use the keyboard without the slope and I just missed it right away.

For $39 ($29 on sale right now) you can't really beat it.

(I bought mine from Anitec.ca It's on sale for $29.99 right now (Keyboard & Mouse OEM combo). I bought it the day before it went on sale. =/ They don't ship to the US though... If you'd like, I could order it and ship it to ya, I guess. It's SO worth it.

It's a bit mushy for gaming but it works fine so far. WASD seem to be very comfortably situated. It's too bad that I don't use WASD. XD (I use shift, z, a, s). The space bar might be too stiff for some people but if you have any strength in your thumbs at all then there shouldn't be too much trouble.
 
I guess it's worth noting that there isn't really a huge selection of ergonomic keyboards at all. Besides MS' Natural line, others are REALLY expensive and are of really non-standard designs.

The thing is that ergonomic keyboards (split design) don't work with gaming because they force you to take one hand (left or right) off of the mouse or keyboard to get to the right side of the keyboard which is something that you really shouldn't do in-game. That's why gaming keyboards are designed the way they are.

With that said: The MS Comfort curve or the Logitech wave (I think?) or non-split design keyboards that still have a moderate curve for comfort. It'll probably be the closest thing you'll get to ergonomic and gaming.
