DOD maps in gmod

anybody where i can download some dod maps, like dod_strand (version of omaha) and put them into gmod (9.04)? or really any dod map would be cool

regular dod maps should already be in ther.

in 9.04? but do u know if i can download custom maps? i tried by just putting the files in gmod, but a lot just shows up with error and stuff

Well, if my memory serves, if you have access to the day of defeat content within GMod (I'm unsure whether or not that was a feature or v9) you can copy the .bsp file into the maps directory of your GMod folder and you should be able to play it without much trouble.

you have to copy the map files and put them into the gmod 9 folder. Then you have to find them on that list that under the offical maps.

and i find the official maps ..where? i can only find some custom ones that dont even work
