Most the games that are demos have the full game pirated like portal.

lol my stepdad has to scroll down to look at all his games and its a long list, he has alot of old games, like quake and stuff, he bought a packet

it came from the nvidia promo from steam but basicly portal demo too bad i had pirated portal already

Wow, that is quite a few games. I have a lot of steam games too, having bought the Half-Life Platinum collection, HL2 platinum edition, and the Orange Box. I haven't downloaded very many demos, though.

Speaking of demos, there is a completely free episode of Sam And Max (remember 1993 everyone?) available on Steam. It's not a demo, but rather a tease for their episodic content with a full chapter available. It's basically 4-6 free hours of old fashioned adventure gaming fun, and with good comedy to boot! It can be freaking hard though, so if you have that many demos and games to test before you mash the delete key it might not be appealing.
