I've done something similar with a grenade. I threw it and it hit a gun and came back at me.

so a deagle reduces the awps damage more than a concrete wall does? i don't even...

It would more than likely deflect the bullet away from the Terrorist. The AWP bullet has a LOT of energy and momentum, but it's hitting a moving, slanted surface with very little friction on it.

source does not have a deflection mechanic and you can clearly see the blood. bullets will always travel straight even if an object is slanted or curved, and if it fully penetrates will be reduces in half for every solid object it passes through. in GO it has an actual model for damage though, so its not just half damage regardless of the distance the bullet has to pass through.

For the awp headshot to be reduced to less than 100 in CS:S, it would have to pass through 3 solid objects. 432 -> 216, 216 -> 108, and 108 -> 54. The deagle SHOULD count as only 1, but apparently it counts as at least 3 if that is on a regular server.

but but... the helmet didn't save him ._.
This should be an advertisement to wear a deagle strapped to your forehead.

Could be a super hero.
Juan Deag Helmet man! Will he be our savior, or annihilator of all that stands just? His power cannot be matched, as no mortal man can touch him with the helmet of deagles that sits gracefully upon his head.

The history behind Juan Deag Helmet man has been traced back to the footage that was posted to this forum. Nobody knows who the man is, he can't be traced even by our FBI surveillance. This man is a ghost... this man is Juan Deag Helmet Man.
