Meeting tonight

I was kicked out for spamming from vent tonight, and I don't see how I can spam. I have push to talk option ticked and I don't have a mic in the first place. So my question to people who know a lot about the vent is how is that possible that I could spam? Oh, I was playing TF2 and did not type anything other than in the game. I apologize in advance if I could spam without my knowledge.

you must have had what u hear selected in your vent options, it makes it so whatever is coming out of your speakers gets transferred over vent.

Yeah, it was pretty brutal. I've had that happen with a buddy before in another game, but not sure what caused it.

Huskies, I know what it is. The ventrilo key to talk is Ctrl. As an engineer (I presume), you were crouching to work on your sentry, which is the same key as talk.

Perhaps rearrange those keys?

Good point, del. I don't remeber hearing the leaders complain every time I was crouching. My name was mentioned every now and then. Now I think of it, as an engineer I crouch a lot to avoid being knocked back, and I think that was when they say "oh, it is Purple.Huskies." I think the best course of action for me is to run only bent during the future meetings. It must been a big distraction for people who were at the meeting like moose and blindsfell.
